Scarlet Sails Books is committed to making scarletsailsbooks.com accessible to all readers, including those who use assistive technologies.

Standards

I aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. This includes sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigability, visible focus indicators, and descriptive alt text on all meaningful images.

Known Limitations

This site is actively being developed. Some pages may not yet meet full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. I am working to address gaps as I build.

The animated card deal on the home page uses motion. Readers who have enabled the prefers-reduced-motion setting in their operating system will receive a reduced-motion experience.
